Growing up in the Adelaide Hills, and nurtured in a musical environment since childhood, then both living and travelling throughout the world, and living on a Pacific island for some time, this is Delia's first musical offering, and is a significant release of quality reflective song writing and performance.
Produced and recorded at Mixmasters in Adelaide with a nest of Adelaide 's finest musicians, this is a formidable “first release” album.
Delia's songs reflect a strong sense of place and spirit, and have been handled and unravelled with a sparse, but engaging integrity.
The launch of “I Like You” at the Governor Hindmarsh, 25 th August brought in a generous crowd, and was received with enthusiasm across the board.
This is just the beginning of the next stage of Delia's journey in taking her songs and spirit to the world.
