Pharaohs

Coming out of the same scene that has produced Bit by Bats and Wolf & Cub, Pharaohs have quickly made a name for themselves in their hometown of Adelaide since playing their first show in december '04.

Pharaohs been compared to everyone from XTC to Midnight Oil, but would rather avoid comparisons and encourage people to come see them and form their own opinions.

In their short existence, Pharaohs have been selected to appear on such high profile bills as the 2005 Adelaide Big Day Out and support slots for international acts The Shins and the Rogers Sisters.

Their debut EP 'The forest for the trees' is out now on Mixmasters Records through Shock.

"Let me go on record as saying these guys are headed for great things"
