New CD - To Catch the Moon -
out now!
Problem Pony believe in love!
It is with the optimism and innocence of a child
and the wit and wariness of the wise that they tell
their love stories, taking the listener along for
a joyous and emotional ride. The sound is uniquely
theirs, with an original blend of ukulele, accordion,
gorgeous guitars and heartfelt vocals that stir
the stars and lull the moon.

What name for this music that blends folk, old country,
'30s blues, jazz, European stylings and then some?
Having formed in the summer of 2000, the original
lineup of four femmes bonded on a road trip replete
with instruments and car tapes and a search for
great music. They returned to Adelaide with a boot
full of songs and a desire to get them into the
ears of the world. That desire has seen Problem
Pony spread their music far and wide throughout
Australia: in small towns, big cities, beautiful
festivals and even back yards. The beginning of
2004 saw original guitarist, Robyn Chalklen depart
in the pursuit of other dreams, leaving a space
that could only be filled by a talent and personality
such as Dylan Woolcock's.
