afternoon, when you don't have that much else to

Under the umbrella of: "you just gotta see
this band....", we find ourselves at the "Pint"
in St Kilda. It's not that often that a band takes
your breath away, playing in the front bar, (on
the floor), no fancy PA, just a bunch of shitty
looking amps and a couple of 58's thrown through
an old Eminar PA (yes the purple one)". . .
full of tubes.
The 12's write & play songs that are Australia,
and as street level as you would ever hear, played
with the enthusiasm and attitude that you know these
guys would be doing this whether they were paid
or not, and they have been doing this for so long,
that it's obvious they don't have to think too hard
about it....it just comes off the bat like a sweetly
hit 6 over the northern stand at the "G"
This is Melbourne, this is Australia, this is the
12's…turn it up
May the gods of pub rock bless us (after all it
is Sunday)
